Staind at Santander Arena: Event Overview

Staind brings an evening of hard rock to Santander Arena in Reading, Pennsylvania, on March 9, 2027. The event lineup also features Seether, Hoobastank, and Hinder, pairing Staind's post-grunge sound with several prominent rock acts. Ticketschester.com lists this date among its Reading Concerts in the Alternative category.

Formed in Springfield, Massachusetts, Staind built a following with emotionally direct songwriting and a blend of alternative metal and post-grunge. The band's best-known songs include “It's Been Awhile,” “Outside,” and “So Far Away”; the album Break the Cycle helped establish its mainstream success. Staind concerts are known for moving between heavier guitar-driven tracks and more reflective songs, creating a dynamic set for longtime fans and newer listeners alike.

Venue and Seating Information

Located at 700 Penn St, Reading, PA 19602, Santander Arena is a multipurpose indoor venue with an approximate capacity of 8,500. It hosts concerts as well as Reading Royals hockey and other events. Concert floor arrangements can vary, with either general-admission standing or reserved seating, so review the event's specific ticket map before choosing seats.

For a close view, the lower-bowl center sections—particularly sections 103–107—are identified as desirable concert locations; floor tickets may also suit fans who want to be near the stage. Center sections in the 300 level offer a broader, more distant view at a potentially lower price. Extreme upper-bowl corner seats may feel especially far from the stage. Accessible seating is available, and premium Loft Lounge access is offered for select events.

Parking Information

Parking is available in the arena's official garage and in nearby downtown lots. The official garage is adjacent to the venue, but its spaces are limited; arriving early is recommended, especially for a busy show. Downtown Reading offers additional options within a short walk.

Santander Arena Parking Garage — 613 Franklin St, Reading, PA 19602; adjacent to the arena. Estimated event parking is $5–$15. View location

Downtown Reading surface lots — Several municipal and private lots are roughly one to three blocks away; estimated prices are $5–$12. Rates and availability may vary by event.

Temporary Box Office parking — Parking may be available near the Box Office in the 700 Penn St area, with pricing varying by event.

For the closest option, consider the official garage, but have a downtown lot as a backup if it fills. Confirm current parking availability and rates before setting out, as event-day arrangements may change.
